Drukarki wielkoformatowe

The Color Laboratory company specializes in supplying the printing market with high-performance Flora large-format printers. For many years, we have been intensively developing our knowledge and skills to provide the highest quality services. Our experienced team of service technicians ideally calibrates and launches industrial printers, which go into the hands of customers, so that they print with the greatest possible efficiency. The first installation and proper configuration of the device is crucial for the printer to meet its requirements. In business, execution time and product quality count the most, and choosing the right equipment and its preparation is the first step to success.

Large format industrial plotters

Large format printing, otherwise known as LFP (Large Format Printing), is understood as printing on a large format, usually inkjet, with a width of 1.3 m to 5 m. Depending on the technology used, industrial plotters can print on various types of substrates, such as textiles, self-adhesive foils, PVC tarpaulins or poster paper, but also on rigid materials, including plexiglass, PVC rigid foam boards, glass, wood or aluminum composite boards. The last three materials are processed in Flatbed printers. UV direct printing, used in flatbed, web and hybrid printers, allows printing on almost all materials (including wood/glass, etc.). UV LED printing technology is very popular and is represented by many devices in our offer.

UV printing in industrial printers

UV printing is a type of digital printing in which the image is transferred directly from the computer to a large format printer. The ink is applied to a given surface and irradiated with ultraviolet light (UV/UV LED lamps are built into the print carriage), thanks to which it cures immediately. As a result of this process, a layer of ink is formed on the printed material. The ink used in industrial UV printers does not contain any solvents, so it is environmentally friendly. The main difference from conventional (water-based) inkjet printing is that the ink does not penetrate completely into the material, but covers its surface where it is cured. This method allows printing on almost all materials.

Advantages of industrial printing with direct printing technique:
  • low costs (no need for further processing of the material, e.g. lamination),
  • short production time,
  • production of large series,
  • a wide range of available printing materials,
  • the ability to print on materials with a porous structure,
  • very large maximum print height (approx. 10 cm on flatbed printers)
  • white color as cover/background or spot color,
  • the possibility of using additives, including 3D varnish.

Industrial printers, which are in our offer, give great opportunities in the field of modern printing methods. If you want to find a printer that best suits your needs, please contact us! We will be happy to help you find the perfect solution.
